Hi ladies wanted to introduce myself I was put on zolof for PPD last Tuesday I have started seeing some small improvements. I am worried about weight gain though I know it sounds dumb but I have struggled with my weight all my life and gained over 60 pounds while pregnant. Now that I want to lose it I am worried the zoloft might cause weight gain. I am going to talk to my doctor about it at my next appointment.

    I was worried about weight gain as well.  I looked up the side effects with wellbutrin (what I was put on) and it looks like it's the opposite for me - a side effect is weight loss.  I'm not sure about zoloft, though. 

     

    Good luck - sorry you had to come here, but so far I've found it's a really good source for support and information.  **hugs**

    zoloft has helped me thus far and i have not noticed weight gain. i still have 17 pounds of pre pregnancy weight to lose
