compare Peg Perego PlikoP3 to UPPAbabyVista

Hello,

My husband and I are trying to decide between a Peg Perego PlikoP3 or Uppababy Vista.  The price is a big difference and we are not doing travel system.  We do a lot of walking either around the local park/pond or neighborhood streets and mall.  I will need something that will keep her comfy, safe and not be too bulky or cumbersome for me.  I would appreciate suggestions and thoughts on these two strollers.  Thank you.

  • All I can tell you about the UPPAbaby Vista is that my sister LOVES hers.  But, as someone who loved her single stroller and now finds herself needing a double, I'd caution you to consider the future.  If you're planning on having a second at a time when your first will still need to stroll, then you may want to consider a single/double like the new Britax B-Ready, the City Select, or the Phil and Ted Vibe.  The UPPAbaby has the rumble seat, but since it isn't a contoured seat and it has no recline, it isn't suitable for napping or long strolls.

  • Have you ben able to compare them side by side?  We found it extremely helpful to "test drive" the strollers we were considering.  Magic Beans, allows you take them for a test on the street.  After going through some real life obstacles like curbs & potholes, we selected the UppaBaby.  Since we are only having one baby, the flexibility to add another seat wasn't important for us.  PP does make a good point if you will be expanding your family.

FYI, if you select the UppaBaby then I suggest ordering from Bed, Bath & Beyond and using a 20% off coupon. It does state not for use on UppaBaby but many times the in store associates just apply the discount.  It requires having it shipped to your house.
