Not a huge fan of Lars or Harvey, but I don't mind Cohen (I like it spelled this way though). Why in the world would it be considered controversial or upsetting?? Clueless here...

Lars is OK. I agree with a previous poster who said not to use Cohen unless you are Jewish. Harvey screams 70s-80s to me. How about Hans, Joel, or Bradley?
I agree that I wouldn't use Coen/Cohen unless you're Jewish. Maybe I've been living in the South too long (I'm a transplanted Midwesterner) but Lars to me sounds like "liars" in a Southern accent. Harvey sounds pretty geeky and dated to me, I'm not gonna lie ... and not in a cool way.

Re: WDYT of Lars?
I'm honestly not a huge fan of Lars...it's not completely terrible though.
I really like Coen. Maybe Coen Lars?
I really, really don't like Harvey though...remdinds me of a dog.....just my opinion though.

Lars reminds me of Lars Ulrich from Metallica. I like it
I don't know why you'd choose Coen/Cohen if you know it's controversial. Why give your child a name that may upset people his entire life?
Harvey makes me think of the play about the imaginary rabbit
yeah, true about cohen. too bad, because for some reason I just really love that name. I also like owen and rowan, but DH hates those!
I like Lars best of those three names.
I actually don't mind Harvey, but if you already have a son named Henry, I think they are too matchy.

Im not a huge fan of Lars, but compared to the other 2 it is a winner.
Love Lars! (and a blonde kid named Lars would be ADORABLE)
Harvey is very cute, too.
Unless you're Jewish, I wouldn't go for Coen. There's a big controversy about non-Jews using that name.
