May 2011 Moms

Tomorrow I'll be 7 weeks, no major morning sickness?!?

Besides some isolated bouts of nausea during the night (no vomitting) and one time diarrhea, I've felt fine!! My Hubby says I jinxing myself but complaining of no morning sickness, but is anyone else like me? Don't get me wrong... I definitely don't WANT m/s, but it worries me a little, plus I don't go for my first appt. until 19 more days!! ( yes I'm counting down!!)

  • my mom told me she had absolutely no m/s when pregnant with both me and my brother.  I'm hoping to follow in her footsteps!

  • I had no m/s my first pregnancy. I know it is alarming (it was to me) because you always hear "I have m/s but that is OK it just means a healthy developing fetus!". That is not really true anyway. Try not to worry too much, I know it is hard.
  • Thanks you guys... I've got a little under 3 weeks until my appt.. so if I've waited this long, I can make it until then! Counting my blessing! Now hopefully, I don't start vomiting after righting this message! (Just my luck!)

  • We're at about the same point, and I too have only really had waves of nausea - yesterday morning was the first time I actually got sick, and I've been fine since then. Symptoms come and go, they're different for everyone too. Try not to worry about it too much. Good luck!

  • I had none with DS and none so far either.

I've heard if you stay hydrated, that helps.  I drink a TON of water.

  • Enjoy it. Some of us are hugging the toilet 50% of the day.
  • I said the same thing, and as soon as I hit 7 weeks, POW!! there it was. HIts me hardest in the morning, and lingers with nausea all day long. I hope it lets up at some point. First doc visit tomorrow! Good luck!
  • I have had no sickness at all either. I do have bad headaches and fatigue but thats it! Enjoy it some people don't get MS

  • I'm 8 weeks today and you pretty much described my m/s experience - some waves of nausea but no vomiting, and one pretty bad bathroom experience.  I had an ultrasound on Thursday and everything looked great.  But I know I'll probably still worry until my next appointment.

  • Knock on wood, no m/s here either.  I am sensitive to greasy food.  This baby hates pizza!  My DH is wondering if it is mine. lol!  Greasy food goes right through me. I also feel really full after I only eat a small portion. Then I'm starving again in an hour:)  The joys of pregnancy!  I wouldn't change a thing:)

  • I feel sick if I don't eat or if I eat too much, but nothing I would call m/s.

Like right now I am waiting for DH to go pick up food and I sitting here willing myself to feel better, but I don't feel like throwing up?

My boobs haven't been sore in two days, so that worries me a bit. I would to have at least one big symptom!

  • I only had the slightest amount of nausea before week 7. So slight I thought it was all in my head. Then the morning of excatly 7 weeks is when it hit me.

  • I'm just a six weeks and I get waves of nausea, had some dry heaving one day - and it all hits in late afternoon - not morning. My grandma (who had 7 children!) said she did not have MS with one of them. Lucky her!
