Newborn BabyLegs?

Are the original BabyLegs too big for most newborns? I see they sell newborn sizes now (25% off right now). I'm thinking of getting a couple of pairs if Baby T won't fill out the original size for a few months. TIA!

Dunno. We only had the regular size and used them just fine. Actually babies legs can be quite chubby in the theigh area so maybe the bigger size is better? Alexa started wearing them around 1-2 months and they fit fine.

They swim on Henry....he can't wear them at all yet. He was kind of a skinny baby, though he's chunked up nicely now. Maybe I should try them again. Last time I tried was 2 weeks ago, and it was kind of a joke how big they were!

OK, I checked my blog. Alexa was about 7 weeks (1 week shy of 2 months) when she wore them for the first time. Here is a pic. Here legs were kinda skinny, but they seemed to fit!

So maybe the newborn size is good for the first 2 months... HTH!

I've seen some of the fan photos on the BL FB page and, yes, some of the babies are swimming in them!

Hey Nicole!

To be honest we bought a few pairs but Ashton was always hot so we didn't get much use out of them. They fit him okay though.

They were a little big on A at first, but we really didn't have many occasions to use them that early. I used them for the first time (to protect his legs from the sun) when he was about 2 months and we went on a hike.

i agree that if you want to use them that early you should get the nb size...but, since she was born in nov and it was flu season and h1n1 was everywhere, we did not take her out often...so the babylegs would have been for cute photo ops, not for practical purposes
