it turned out really great! and honestly, i like it better than the boat design you had posted
I totally agree! Did it hurt much? Did they recommend a certain lotion to put on the tattoo? I remember back when I had mine done in HI yeeears ago they highly suggested Lubriderm for some reason or another.

I loved the concept of the boats, but it just didn't work in execution. I wanted it to...but eventually I had to admit to myself that I couldn't make it work. But I don't regret it because I've loved this design since I first made it, and I love it even more now that it's done - it was definitely the right choice.
It hurt, but honestly it wasn't THAT bad. The outline hurt way more than the fill - it feels like a scalpel, while the fill is more like sharp scraping.
They gave me a special lotion made by ProTat to use - it seems thicker than regular lotion, not sure what other difference there is.
OMG! It looks fantastic! and the artist did a great job too!!
On a side note, I was just thinking about how they say that kids have "left the nest" when they've grown up? In your case, it would be a cute sort of pun
Re: who wants to see my tattoo? :)
Hooray! You did it...you go mama! And I LOVE the sparrows...yipee!
Perhaps, after bebe #2 I'll follow suit...I call Libby my little busy bee, so maybe a bumble bee for her and who knows what the next one will be?!

I LOVE it! I never saw your other options, but it's pretty awesome. I've been wanting to get one for Asthon but I have no idea what I want to do.
