Hello everyone! I am so, so thrilled to be a part of this board! It was somewhat of a tough journey getting here with 14 months of TTC with PCOS. I had tried various IF meds including injectibles and was completely unsuccessful in inducing ovulation. Finally my RE suggested a laproscopic surgery called ovarian drilling and I figured I had nothing to lose so I tried it. I had one normal cycles and then started a really long and what I assumed to be anovulatory cycle. So I went back to my RE and we were going to try fertility meds again once I got back from a two week Mediterranean cruise. THANK GOD I had that cruise and didn't start progesterone because I ended up ovulating and became pregnant! I couldn't believe it! I was really happy that I brought HPTs with me on the cruise, but it was killing me being cut off from the world for so long after my first BFP (four days into the cruise)!
I have my first doctor's appt this Monday, but only because they base the appointment on your LMP so they think I'm like 8 or 9 weeks along, even though I explained differently, but I don't think they really cared. So who knows what they will do/find at that appointment. I haven't been able to contact my RE yet, so I'm excited to call him on Monday! My biggest fear is that I should have been on progesterone supplements this whole time, but there's nothing I can do about that now.
I can't wait to get to know all of you better and wish everyone a H&H 9 months!
