QOTW: Is it still summer weather where you are or is it beginning to look a little like fall?

Re: ***2IF weekly check-in***

  • Update: Nothing to report with the pregnancy, thank god.

QOTW: It has started to rain and a few leaves are falling, but I think we could still end up with some more dry nice weather this month.  I noticed all the Halloween candy is out at the grocery store now.

  • We are just hoping to have Gwen home in the next few weeks. Hanging in there trying to be at the NICU and with the boys as much as possible.

It is looking like fall is on its way here. We are seeing some leaves change, and pumpkin stands are getting started. I hope to be able to go as a family to pick out pumpkins soon. This is my favorite time of year!

  • Update: Starting 2nd week of BCPs, still wondering why I'm taking them.  Have acupuncture appt Monday with new practitioner, looking forward to that.  Trying to be ok with the fact that there is "no chance" of anything happening before November, hoping like anything that November will be the month!!!

QOTW: Still gets warm-ish in the afternoons, but mornings and evenings are quite cool.  Just a few trees have turned, and it's still sunny most of the time... I'm hanging on to the sun as long as I can, as we just moved from a warm state to the midwest, and I hear we're in for a cold, sunless winter - ack!  Gimme some sun!  Cool

  • Update: We had my 12 week OB appointment and we got to hear the hb.  It was a bit scary because the OB had trouble finding the baby, but at the end the hb was 156.  And next week I am officially gonna be out of the 1st trimester.  YAY

QOTW: It's beginning to look like fall and I could NOT be happier about it.  I am ready for fall festivals, halloween, and then CHRISTMAS!  YAY.  For some reason this year I've been looking forward to it for several months already.

  • I am new here but would love to join your board/check in.  Right now we are on a break cycle- just had a D&C - BO at 7 weeks.  We were seeing on RE due to recurrent m/c.  TTC #2 since November, so almost 1 year :(  and three losses later....  We are thinking of moving ahead with IVF and PGD- I can get pregnant easily but can't stay pregnant.  So right now my status is waiting, not so patiently.  Hoping for AF mid October, and my RE said she will get me in for the next IVF cycle so hopefully I will start stimming right away!

QOTD:  We are in NY and although the leaves aren't really falling the weather is feeling a bit like fall.  I do love fall weather, but I don't like what is right around the corner!

    Thanks for adding me!

  • UPDATE: 23 weeks now, and pretty uneventful, thankfully! My next appointment is Thurs.--I think I'll be doing the glucose test.

QOTD: It feels like fall here--leaves are changing, and the cooler weather has started. I'm only looking forward to fall and winter because it brings us closer to having this baby!

  • Update:  Just waiting for AF to show her face.  I started spotting this eve, so hopefully by Monday.  Then I can have a 3d U/S to see whats going on with that cyst.

QOTD:  We didn't really have much of a summer (not like last year).  It's been cooling off at night quite a bit and the days only get up to the high 70's - low 80's.  I am loving this weather, but can't wait for it to get cooler.

  • Update:  After 2 IUI with clomid, I've decided to have a Laparoscage this week to find out if there's anything... if anything it'll fix my heart shaped uterus (doc thinks it was the cause of my pre-term labor/bed rest last time) and to help with the cramping.  Anyone have this done? I'm super nervous because the only surgery I've had before was oral.

QOTD:  Still hot in Texas, we're down to the 90's now so it's not as bad during the mornings and early evenings.

  • UPDATE:  Hanging in here at 34 weeks, finally started cleaning out DD's former room (aka the nursery).

QOTW:  Definitely starting to feel and look a little like fall here.  We're planning for DD's 3rd b-day party in 3 weeks, hope to get a pumpkin farm visit in and then the little one's arrival!

  • My blog explains why I have been MIA a lot lately... I won't bug you ladies w/the details.

QOTW:  Yes it is still really hot here... I'm ready for Fall but than that means putting away the twins cute summer clothes and that would be sad Sad

  • Hi girls! It's been a while since I've stopped in. Glad to see some new BFPs!

We had our "big" ultrasound. Cervical length is great, my previa corrected and it's a BOY! We're very excited to have one of each -- especially since it's going to be our last. I'll continue to go for cervical length ultrasounds every two weeks from here on. I've passed the point where I was put on bedrest with Lanna, so I'm happy to still be up and about.

QOTW: fall is in the air! I can't wait for the festivals and pumpkin picking that are on the agenda for next month. It's my favorite time of year!

  • Update:   Had our first u/s last week and saw the little one and everything looked great.   My EDD is 4/30 (which is 5 days after DD's birthday).  I have more blood tests this week and then if all goes well with those, I'm officially released to my OB and have my first appt with them the first week of October.

QOTW:  It is still really hot here (mid 90's) and I really wish it would cool down!!

  • I've been MIA for a little while now so I'd like to give a little re-intro.  We ttc #1 for nearly 3 years.  DH was put on Clomid for 3 months due to MFI before proceeding with an RE.  We got our BFP a couple of months after he'd done his first round of Clomid and literally got it right before our consultation with the RE.  We've been ttc #2 for 21 months now.  The first 9 months of that was on our own without DH taking Clomid and the last 12 months was with DH taking Clomid.  The part that baffled me was that DH's urologist never had him do another SA this time around and just wrote him a 12 month Rx without even seeing him again at all!  I have regular cycles and no known issues.

Well, we had our first appt. with RE today and we left there with mixed emotions.  I had a vaginal sonogram today (everything looked good to RE and he could tell that I just recently O'ed) and DH scheduled his SA for next week.  It feels good to have the ball rolling with a RE instead of just flying solo like we've been doing all along, but then again we're overwhelmed with the cost of everything since it's all OOP for us.  I was thinking/hoping that our insurance would at least cover the testing, but the RE's office called to check and they said absolutely not...UGH!!!  We're now trying to decide if we want to schedule the HSG for me or not since it would be $1,200 OOP (WWYD? post to follow on that situation).

We'll see where we go from here and I'll be sure to keep you posted!

QOTW: It truly depends on the day...gotta love the midwest!  We've gone from having days in the 90's to days in the 70's and back to the 90's with evenings getting down to the 50's all within the same week.

  • QOTW: Is it still summer weather where you are or is it beginning to look a little like fall? today it is summerish...the past week has been total fall though

update: just started CD1 today... after a 19 day cycle with 6 day LP.  so frustrating

~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
