I was most nervous about my appt today because I have been told at all my gyn appts over the years that my cervix is 'backwards'. I was unsure of how this was going to affect the IVF. Without mentioning anything to my RE yet, he says "you have a beautiful cervix". I said, "Humm... no one has ever told me that before!" LOL He said that it is just very bendy, like the hook on a shepards staff. He said now that he knows, it won't be a problem.
The SIS showed an 'issue'. There is some sort of mass in my ute. He thinks it's left over 'debris' from AF or it could be an endometrial polyp. So now I have to go to another location (Seattle) next week to have a hysteroscopy to see what's goin on.
Other than that, he sounds very positive that this will work for us. We also talked about transfering one embryo or two. He recommends one for us, but will let us do two but no more. Now something else to think about....
Overall, I left the appt feeling pretty excited!!

Overall great news! It's weird reading your post knowing we have the same RE! Sorry to hear about the hysteroscopy and that you have to make the trip to Seattle. I hope it turns out to be nothing!
He also had the 1 vs. 2 conversation with us. Big decision, huh?
Yeah, it is kinda strange isn't it!? But I'm sure you could hear him saying something like that!!
1 vs. 2 IS a big decision... he gave us a whole bunch of reading material
I could totally hear him saying something like that. I sure hope that things go well with the hysteroscopy!
Glad all went well for you. I have my mock ET on Monday. . . eek. They are using a thing called a dilator to pry open my cervix hopflly making it easier for RE to get in there the day of the actual ET.
I am also hoping your apt in seattle goes PERFECT!
