XP How much did your LO weigh at 12 months

We had our well baby appt. Kate's 12 month (almost a month late) and Bailey's 3 year. Anyways, Kate is 17lbs 4 oz, she is not even on the growth chart for weight, and 27 inches tall (5%) and Bailey is 28lbs even, 25% 37inches tall. They estimate that Bailey will hit 40lbs at around 6 years old Indifferent

. I always thought we would have huge babies since I am almost 6ft tall (5ft 10in) and all my family is well over 6ft, and H's family is all over 6ft (he is the same height as me). I guess we make little babies...How much did your baby weigh at 12 months?

DS1: 24lbs 6oz (74th percentile) and 30 inches (59th percentile)

DS2: 26lbs 8oz (91st percentile) and 30.5 inches (74th percentile)

DS2 was 10lbs 6oz at birth though, so he's always been big! He is catching up to his big brother fast!

Kate and Ryleigh share the same birthday and we had ours yesterday, she was 20lbs 4.5oz (32%) and 29.75 in long (75%).

DS was 10lbs 4oz at birth

At 13 months (we were out of town at 12 months) he was

30lbs even and 33.5 inches. Off the charts for both!! But I think LOs are supposed to triple their weight by one year?

DS1- 19lbs @ 12mos (7lbs, 3oz @ birth)

DD1- 21lbs @ 12 mos (8lbs, 2 oz @ birth)

DD2- 21lbs @12 mos (7lbs, 15 oz @ birth)

DS2- 26.5lbs @ 12 mos (9lbs, 9oz @ birth)

DD2 is 4 1/2 years old now & weighs 40 lbs. DS2 is 22 mos old & weighs 32 lbs He has just been BIG from the start-96th & 97th %tile for height and weight. He weighs now what DD2 weighed at her 3yr check-up!

I am 5' 3", 127lbs, DH is 6' 1". I was almost 10lbs at birth as were my 2 younger brothers. None of us are big now! Up through 3rd grade I was THE TALLEST girl in my class & I was taller than all but 2 of the boys, too! Then, I stopped growing and all the other kids kept on growing! My mom is 5' 3" & my dad is 5' 7". I think that a baby can start off small or large & go in a completely different direction at some point. You just never know!

16lbs 14 oz. We were concerned so we did a month where we really tried to beef her up. We went in for a check the next month and she was up to 18lbs 1oz. The dr still wants to keep her eye on her but I think she will be fine going foward. I don't think she was getting enough bm. I think she was about 27 inches too. She is really tiny.

At 12 months, DS was 25lbs, 6oz and 31 inches.

She was 19 lbs 13 oz (25th) and 28.5 inches (50th).

She gained almost 4 lbs (23 lbs 9 oz) and grew 3 inches between that and her 15 month appt though!

DD was 22ish lbs and 31 inches.

DS was 26.5 lbs and 33.5 inches.

They are/were both HUGE. DS was 35 inches at his 15m appt.

DD is 25 lbs 6 oz, and 32" tall. Pedi said she's the size of the average 20 month old. I'm 5'10" too.

DD was 22 pounds at 10 months and off the charts for height, so she is not tiny.

I will say though that I was 17 pounds at a year old, and I'm now 5'10" and have to really watch what I eat and how much I exercise in order to stay trim. I was a teeny tiny thing until I turned 5. I then grew so fast that I literally skipped over two sizes of clothing, and I've been one of the tallest girls in the room ever since. Never fear!

My DS was 19 pounds at 12 months. Thats the 5th percentile for boys, but he has consistently been in the 5th percentile since birth so the doctor isn't concerned. I think he is now in the 10th percentile...so slowly but surely he's growing!

DS was 23 lbs (50th percentile) for weight, and 34 inches (90th percentile) for height. He is 97% for head size, so he is a little bobblehead.

DD was 23 lbs 7 oz and 30 1/4 inches tall. She has been in the 75% percentile for both height and weight since 4 months old. However, I think her weight gain has slowed now that she's completely on solids, so it'll be interesting to see her stats at her 15 month appt.

A was 18lb 13oz and 29in. at 1 year check up. Dr. is not concerned, so I'm not. She has been walking since 10 months, and that uses a lot of her calories for all that energy. Plus she was 5lb 4oz at birth.
