I was thinking of taking J to Monkey Joes this weekend. Ive heard that they have a separate area for younger kids and the place itself is nice. Have any of you guys been?

they do have a spot for younger kids, it is nice, usually clean. parents are not allowed on the equipment, your kid is on their own mostly (with you watching from outside the jump things of course). there are "refs" who can help them out if they get stuck.
I hated going there because except for the refs, the employees are freaking idiots. every single one I had contact with was rude and dumb. that was within the first 3 months of opening so maybe (hopefully) they've wised up by now

Just curious, is it all equipment or just the younger area?
My ds won't do most of the jump stuff by himself, he makes me go on everything with him. We frequent Bouncin Bears https://www.bouncinbearstexas.com/ in between Tomball and Spring on 2920. But I'm always looking for different options to change things up.
They let the parents on the large equipment but they have 3 pieces of equipment for 3 and under and we aren't supposed to go onto those.
I have taken DD to Monkey Joes several times. I didn't think you could go in the toddler areas with your kids but all the "refs" at the one I went to assured/encouraged me and DH to go in with her every time we have gone. They wouldn't let us on the big equipment with her though (i.e. the big slides).
I know you're def not allowed to go on the big equipment with the kids, I thought you couldn't go on the toddler stuff either but I could be wrong.
Glad to know this! We won't be going there! DS can do all of the equipment on his own (in most cases) but he doesn't want to do it by himself, he always wants me or dh to do it with him. That would be a huge waste of money for me because he'd just throw a big tantrum and we'd have to leave! lol
Monkey Bizness and Bouncin Bears (the two places closest to us) let's adult on the equipment with the kids.
