I know this makes me a bad citizen

but I don't wanna go to jury duty on Monday. I'm so pukey and gross.

Apparently that is not a good enough excuse, though I can go and plead my case in person on the day. I have a feeling when I throw up in their courtroom, they'll let me off.

Suck.

    Aww, I got summoned for next month, but it got sent to my mom's house. She was reading me the details last night, and apparently I can get out of it just because I'm pregnant? I'll have to reread it for myself, but if that's the case... Big Smile

    I was at jury duty a few months ago and the gal behind me was pregnant.  She told them she couldn't go more than 1/2 hour without needing to pee.  They dismissed her.

    if the peeing and puking doesnt get you out, you could always claim that you have a hatred for people accused of any crime and think they should all get jail time no matter what.  Then you could get dismissed for prejudice or something...Wink

    Agreed.

    Or just tell them you already think the guy did it.  You'll be dismissed then.

    Good luck. Jury duty was the most boring two days of my life...never got to see the inside of a court room.

    When you walk in ask them if they have puke bags like they have on airlines. I'm sure they will dismiss you if you are getting sick, they won't want you puking all over the court.
