Daycare center recommendation -Waltham or Woburn/Reading

We are looking at day care centers who allow infants to attend 2 or 3 days per week in either Waltham or the Woburn/Reading areas. Most places I already looked at were either 4 or 5 days.  Any help you can provide would be great!

  • This might not be the location you're looking for, but try Burlington Day Care, Inc.  I'm pretty sure you can put an infant in for 2 or 3 days.  They just need to be full days.  My son is in the toddler day care there and we've been happy w/it.

  • That is great!  We are looking for something on our way home from Waltham to Reading.  Thanks!
  • Bright Horizons at Lexington...It's literally on the border of Waltham and Lexington.
  • There is the Learning Zone in Waltham. DS1 went to the Belmont location for his first year before we moved.  We liked it, people were very friendly and very caring towards our son.  Even got him Chirstmas and Bday presents.....the teachers truly cared about him.  Best part was they have cameras in every class you can view your child online through a secure site.  That really helped leaving him at 4 months old.  Good Luck!
  • Hi we used a home daycare- Cheryl Fritts Comfort of Home in North Reading. Not exactly on your way but we loved her and our son was so sad to leave when it was time for him to go to kindergarten. She is also extremely flexible with her schedule. Good luck!

  • we used the YMCA children's center in woburn, nothing but great experiences.

  • My daughter just started at Country Club Learning Center in Woburn, near the Winchester line.  It's only been two days but I have a coworker whose son has been going there for several months and likes it.  They'll do 2 or 3 days I think, but 4 days is the same price as 5 (which is annoying).

    Good luck!
  • We love DD's in-home daycare, Dream a Lil Dream in Waltham. They have part-time openings. PM me if you want more info.
  • The Goddard School in Reading.  I know of a few in Wakefield as well.  PM if you would like info.  There was a link on here a few months back that listed several Reading daycares.
