DD is getting her ears pierced tonight!

Were taking her to a shop that her pediatrican recommended (not Claires). She's going to look so pretty! DH is going to meet us there.

I had mine done as a baby. She's going to look so pretty.

    My DH would KILL me if I got DD's ear pierced.

    She will look adorable! I had DD's done at her first pediatrician's appointment.  It looked beautiful.

    My DD's ears were pierced for her first birthday. We wanted to do it sooner, but it just didn't happen. She just got her first new pair of earrings on Wednesday and I was just as excited as the day she got her ears pierced!

    Lol, are you going to ask me if I wanna make something of it?  I don't have a problem with your choice.  It just seems utterly random.  I think you have a problem with the OP's choice judging by your UO yesterday.

    It bothers me when parents get their babies ears pierced at a really young age.  What about infections or babies might play with their ears?   Even when the baby is getting their ears pierced that would hurt them for a second.  I just think it is mean.

    I was thinking the same thing. She will look adorable. Brock's daycare "girlfriend" got her ears pierced last weekend and they look great!

    Good luck! I am sure she will look beautiful! I was all set to get DD's pierced about 2 weeks ago, but I chickened out at the last minute when they told me they would only do one at a time. But I really want to do it so maybe I will reconsider. I had mine pierced when I was 4 months old so DD is already older than that. Have fun!

    Awe, good luck! My Mom made me wait until I was double digits (10) to get mine done.  I don't know when I will do it when I have a daughter ::wishful thinking that I do though::

    Daycare girlfriend!! So sweet!! I can't wait to get LO's ears pierced but we are waiting till after her next round of shots..I think its going to look beautiful, and maybe help with those pesky old folks who unless she is in bright as* pink say oh how cute is he? lol

    I got mine done as a kid and I don't remember any pain..cause I was a baby! lol My parents waited with my sister until she was 10 and she ended up piercing them herself{and got an infection} because she didn't want to wait! I think its up to the parents and everyone else can suck it!! ahaha

    how cute! I was adiment(sp?) about waiting until she was able to tell me she wanted them done, but they look so cute, I think I want to do my dd's now :) How old is your lo? I am wondering since my dd is 5 months, will she play with her ears? And what kind of place are you taking her to? I will have to get in touch with other moms in my area to see where they took they're lo..Im not a fan of claire's either! :) TIA

    yay!  I really don't know why people flame this so much.  My DD got hers done 2 weeks ago, and she barely made a peep.  She cried more getting her 4 month shots.   If you follow the recommended instructions for cleaning them, they heal really quickly.  No more, "What a cute little boy!" from strangers!
