If your LO took a paci: POLL

Jonah uses Sassy MAMs.  We loved them because they were easy to find in stores, didn't have a specific direction (he couldn't get them upside down) and worked with paci clips.

We need to move on from Soothies for Elliott, but I don't want to use MAMs, because we are getting ready to wean Jonah and that would just be mean.  Sooooo..

What type of paci does your LO use and why do you like it (or not)?

    We tired a few brands with Ellie and the only one she liked was Avent, so we used that (and still do!).  They are a lot like the MAMs--they don't have a specific direction to fit in, which is nice.

    She sometimes takes one and sometimes doesn't, but my favorites have been the Avent pacis.  I like them because they're easy to find and they have a ring on them so that I can attach the velcro ribbon that clips onto her clothes so that we don't drop it when she lets go.  We have also used MAMs and the soothies, but the avent ones have seemed to be the ones that DH and I both favor.

    We still use Soothies because that's all Zander will take.  We have 2 paci clips and about a bajillion paci's.  LOL

    The boys both took Soothie's when they were small and that's all they ever ould take. Conner only took a pacifier until about three months and Carson nine, but we had plenty.  I know this post probably didn't help you one bit sorry.

    Isabella would only take the Gerber Nuk.  I tried Avent first, the Playtex Binky, and the Soothie.

    Evie loves her some Nuk.  She can flip it around if she puts it in upside down and sometimes its a game where my mom will put it in upside down and she giggles and turns it right side up.

    MY good friend is an orthodontist and those are the pacifiers he uses for his boys.

    Andrew loved the hospital paci's. haha.  When we got him home, I bought him some "nice ones" to be a nice mommy but he wanted nothing to do with them.  Ha!

    Gerber Nuk. Super easy to find and cheap. And yeah, like Sarah's Evie, she makes a game out of putting it in her mouth upside down and flipping it around.

    We've been lucky with Mady that she has taken pretty much any that we give her.  We have mostly given her MAMs.  I agree that avent are very close to MAMs but have a "handle" instead of being totally flat.  I'd recommend those if not going with the MAM and looking for something different.
