Do your jeans still fit??

I'm just over 11 weeks and it looks like I may only have a few more weeks in my jeans. Luckily I've already purchased some cute Hudson materity jeans and welcome their secret belly comfort.

Have any of your started wearing maternity clothing?

Re: Do your jeans still fit??

  • My clothes still fit but I'm also still wearing a lot of the pants I wore 30# ago and have just been using a belt. LoL. I figure I can grow back into them now.

  • Barely.  They are definitely getting tight.  I need to have my husband pull my maternity pants out of storage for me because my current jeans aren't going to last me too much longer.

  • I haven't busted out the maternity pants just yet, but I've been tempted lately.

  • I started a new sales job with a dress code, so I figured I might as well get it out of the way now and buy the maternity pants. And they are so comfy! My jeans do not fit at all. I am so bloated. Ugh.
  • I went up two sizes and these are tight.  Ordered maternity ones over the weekend and will wear them when they get here.

  • They fit in the morning, not in the evening though!  I'm buying a bella band this weekend.
  • Not really. I switched to maternity pants.
  • Yes but they are uncomfortable.  I feel ridiculous wearing maternity pants yet.  Wearing my loose khakis or hubby's jeans.
  • No. No they do not.

But I'm too scared to go buy maternity jeans, so I've been living in yoga and pj pants.

  • Anything with a button, hook, or zipper has been kicked to the curb.  I can still wear stuff that has a stretchy waist, but the jeans are done.

  • Pft. 11 weeks? I'm 8 some and mine are nowhere near fitting. I take that back. Maybe first thing in the morning but heaven forbid I eat or drink anything and I EXPLODE and instantly look at least 5 months pg. I love my fake baby bump though. DH told me today after lunch...  you know you're talking to your burrito, right? Lol, so no my pants don't fit for the most part.

This. I am wearing maternity pants at home tonight, and I might be sold on them. I'll have to contemplate that this weekend.

  • I'm still at my pre-preg weight +/- a pound...not really bloating...So i'm still in skinny jeans...if I had not heard the heartbeat I'd be scared

This is my first of course.  My husband and I have a bet how long I can stay in my jeans

  • I can still fit into my jeans, but they're getting pretty tight - especially by the end of the day.  My maternity jeans arrived today, tried them on and am SOLD!  They are so comfy, I don't know if I'll be able to wear my regular jeans anymore.

  • I've been wearing my regular jeans all night (and no belly band yet), and they're still comfy.  I bet it has to do the the brand and style.  I have several pairs of the Gap Long & Leans.  They ride low, so my belly pops out over the top of the waistband.  I was wondering tonight if I can make it through the whole pregnancy in them.
  • Just this week got to the point that I can only wear certain jeans.  Ugh!  Haven't bought any maternity pants yet, but am seriously thinking about doing it soon.

  • Sort of. I'm sitting in my biggest pair of jeans (the ones that were loose 6 months ago when I was running half marathons...sigh) with the "hairband" closure. I was just happy to get into them this morning at all! I did buy some Old Navy maternity jeans last weekend, which are very comfy, but not work appropriate.

  • I am still wearing all of my work clothes but the jeans are very uncomfortable.  I can no longer button them and they are just plain uncomfortable.  I think I am heading to Target to check out their maternity selection, I have to find a new pair soon.

  • Nope. Any of my old normal jeans are out of the question. I can barely get them up around my hips.

  • Not a chance on the jeans. My work pants are still fitting okay, but even they are starting to get a little snug. I picked up two pairs of maternity pants last weekend, and I think I'm going to go get a Bella Band tonight, and maybe another pair of jeans. Only problem...We're telling my family about our pregnancy this weekend, so wearing maternity pants, or even a Bella Band, is going to send up some red flags!
  • Not even a little bit.  I bloated up a size and a half and was wearing old jeans from before I lost weight pre-baby.  By 6 1/2 weeks I couldn't even button those and be comfortable.  I went out and got my first maternity pants last weekend and now there's no going back.  They are soooooo comfortable and seem to be helping with my nausea.  Anything with a hook, button, or zipper waistband had gotten the boot.

Ok, I was really starting to wonder if I am the only one who wasn't having a problem with their jeans. LOL

I'm still down a few pounds from pre-pregnancy weight I think.  My belt is even still on the smallest setting.  But, this is also my first and for the most part the bloating hasn't been too bad.

  • I'm still in regular jeans / pants. I did buy a few pairs of maternity jeans / pants yesterday. I imagine one day I'll go for something and it just won't fit. I wanted to be prepared!

  • Some days yes and some days I have to use a hairband to close my jeans.  Tonight I had to completely unbutton and unzip to sit on the couch.

My sister sent me some of her maternity clothes but I feel silly even considering them yet.  I have several pairs of regular jeans stashed away from when I was a few sizes larger so I'll probably break those out before I go out and buy anything pg-related.

  • I'm right at 10 weeks and I can wear my jeans, but it hurts to sit because of the bloat.  I've been using a bellyband which is very comfortable, but I'd way rather wear my shorts or yoga pants.  (Plus, they make the bloat look a little more bump like instead of just fat).  Luckily, I'm a nurse, so scrubs for me!
