F/U to my headache (long)
I still have it. 
The meds that were prescribed last night didn't do a darn thing for it overnight and I didn't sleep at all. The pill was a mix of acetaminophen, caffeine and something that "relaxes" you. I think it was a barbituate. After my second dose at 2 am this morning I realized it wasn't touching the pain so I quit taking it.
I finally called the doc on call around 8 this morning and he told me to call the office after 9 so I could make an appointment to be seen. That turned into a huge clusterf*ck and it was after 11 before they told me to come on in. In the meantime I had talked to my mom and she had to take care of a few things this morning but said she would drive down and be here around 3:30. I also had a huge meltdown because I couldn't really take care of Caroline and she really needed me to play with her and give her attention. I finally broke down and told DH he needed to come home ASAP. By the time he got home Caroline was already down for her nap and I was laying down too.
At the doc office, everything checked out fine - BP, urine, HB. She prescribed something stronger - percocet and also Flonase. I really am starting to think this is allergy related.
I came home, and drank a Coke and took 2 tylenol and went to bed. (Thanks Lib and April for the Tylenol and caffeine suggestion!) After a 2 hour nap I felt a little better and DH went back to work. My mom got here shortly after and I took another hour long nap.
I'm feeling a bit better, but the headache seriously won't go away. I took the Percocet hoping that I will be able to sleep tonight and make this pain go away. It really sucks!
The good news is that it's been about a month since my mom has seen Caroline and they are having a blast together. I think mom is going back home tomorrow afternoon though.

Aw Shannon, I can't believe the majority of the headache is still there. I can just imagine your misery. I'm glad you were able to get some help with Caroline and that you're feeling just a bit better. Even a bit better is something.
I hope this new medicine works for you!

I just really hate taking all this medicine. I didn't take anything with Caroline aside from a couple of Tylenols. Even DH said he hopes I feel better soon so that I can quit taking so much medicine.

From someone who gets headaches regularly, I sympathize with your pain!!
(I don't even want to think what it's going to be like when I get PG. YIKES!)
I hope it gets better soon! I know how debilitating & exhausting a headache like that can be!
