Somewhat of a food question

Aubrey throws her sippy cup and any food she is finished with on the floor.  It's like that is how she signals she is finished.  For obvious reasons this is not going to work.  We have been working on it with the sippy cup and she is getting a bit better but then the food throwing started.  So did any of you experience this and how did you handle it?

    Aw, the good old act of learning! They throw it, you pick it up, rinse, and repeat!  Mitchell is doing this all the time.  And anytime he's distracted my something else, the cup or whatever he's holding at the moment hits the floor. 

    I haven't experienced food throwing yet because he's just way to greedy for that. But after the cup hitting the floor and giving it back to him twice, I usually quit.

    Try signing with her for all done. Wave both hands about chest level and say "all done". This might help her learn a new method of communicating with you instead of the pile of food on the floor. But. Also know it's a phase :). If we don't take Avery seriously when she says all done now. Food ends up on the floor. Or even better, gets fed to the dog.
