Our conversation goes something like this:
Me: O, what do you want to be for Halloween?
O: A pirate!
Me: You were a pirate last year.
O: A queen.
Me: You mean a king? A queen is a girl.
O: What is a king?
Me: A king is like a boy queen
O: I want to be a boy queen.
Me: *sigh*
I'm guessing he'll be a pirate again. If so, I'll just have C be a pirate too.

Alex wants to be a dragon again like last year. Or a scarecrow. Or a superhero.
Foster might wear Alex's old lion costume. Or I might feel guilty and get him something new. I don't know. Maybe they can both be superheros?
Kaitlyn wants to be Belle. I found a really cute lady bug for Samantha, but they were out of her size in the store and online... so I'm going to regroup and find something else. Maybe a strawberry.
Avery is bound and determined to be Alice at Wonderland. Yes, I know it is Alice in Wonderland, but she prefers the Alice at Wonderland.
I want Joseph to be the white rabbit, but Avery is insisting he be Buzz Lightyear and is teaching him to say I wanna be Buzz.

i thought i'd have more years of having them in coordinated costumes, but last year looks like it was the first and last time that'll happen. my DD was andre johnson and my DS was a football...i loved it!
this year my DD wants only to be a "sparkly princess butterfly", so that's gonna be hard to coordinate something with my DS. so DD is going to be something pretty pink with wings and DS is going to be a soccer player!
Tru is going to be Buzz Lightyear. I really want to dress M as the 3 eyed alien, but I doubt he'll wear that thing on his head so I think he's going to be Woody.
I wanted them to both go as dinosaurs but T picked Buzz...
HA! Elena is *always* trying to get Julia to say things like that or convince her of things: "You want to be Woody, don't you Julia? You'd be SO cute as Woody Julia! Julia, say you want to be Woody!"
In our house they are as of yet undetermined. Elena has said Ariel and Sleeping Beauty, but currently wants Jasmine. Julia has wanted Cinderella, Buzz, Woody or Jesse. I'm guessing I'm done with coordinating outfits already. Boo.

Maddie wants to be Wonder Woman, I was totally shocked because she's *really* into Disney princesses.
Maren will be "spooky", it's a Hello Kitty t-shirt from Old Navy.
He'll be 2.5 months old and he's looking like he'll have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes for a while, so, thanks to Daniel Craig, he gets to be James Bond. Simple, with black onesie (if I can find one) and pants, and a tuxedo bib.
My husband wants him to have a gun...a full sized toy gun, that is.
