Mommy's Bliss?

I posted this question on the May Mommies board and did not get any responses, so I'm assuming no one has tried it, but thought I would try here...

Has anyone tried "Mommy's Bliss Morning Sickness Magic" or any other type of herbal over the counter morning sickness remedy?  The Mommy's Bliss is a supplement capsule you take 4 times in 24 hours.  Wondering if anyone's had any luck with this type of thing?  My OB recommended it.

Re: Mommy's Bliss?

  • Never heard of it. I am trying something called Meclazine (sp?) myself which helps with nausea. I think it's for something like motion sickness, but works well with morning sickness too. Anyways, you can buy it over the counter and it has helped alot with my nausea. I can eat now! Warning- it makes you tired.

  • thanks for your response!  i have heard of taking over the counter unisom, which is a sleep aid and makes you drowsy, but also helps with nausea.  i took a mommy's bliss last night and so far so good this morning, but it says it can take up to 3-5 days for relief, so maybe i'm just having a "good day".  the mommy's bliss has ginger root extract, vitamin B6, red raspberry leaf, and folic acid.
