I got my u/s done and cd 3 blood work done and everything came back normal (yipppee) but DH's SA came back with mixed results he has high count but alot of abnormal and low mobility . So my question is what have the awesome ladies on here done to improve your DH's swimmers . I am feeling quite relieved all my bits are working but feeling quite down that SA is what it is . We will be testing agin next month. I have DH on vitamins . But any other recommendations. Sorry for the long post .

Re: test results
Did your doctor refer YH to a urologist? That seems to be the standard protocol - bad SA, off to the uro. DH had his second SA done with the uro with similar results - low count, low motility, 0% morph. He had a small varicocele (varicose vein in the testicle) and he had it repaired last week. That's all we're doing to treat the problem thus far, but I have heard of guys taking Clomid (I think that's more of a count issue though, which doesn't apply to you it sounds).
See what the second SA is like and try not to worry too much yet - could be a fluke. Easier said than done! Good luck and keep the questions coming...it's scary, especially when you're just starting out.
Do you know what the specific numbers are? A lot of times it sounds like they are bad (and nurses may even tell you they are) but in reality, they end up being pretty normal.
The good news is that with a high count, it negates a little bit of the lower morph and motility.
You will want to have a second SA done to see if the numbers stay consistent. If they are still low, YH should see a urologist to look further into the issue.
How long did YH abstain before the SA? If it was too long (3+ days) that can cause a lower motility.
