To my knowledge, I don't think I've ever had heartburn. However, after dinner this evening (tortellini w/ red sauce and roasted brussel sprouts, which I was DYING for), I feel this wierd pressure in my upper chest, like an air bubble or a burp that is stuck. DH said maybe it's heartburn, but it doesn't really feel like "burn." Just pressure.... wierd.

Re: What does heartburn feel like?
Yes, that's heartburn. If I remember correctly, the very first few times I got it it felt like what you're describing. Eventually it got worse over time and these days I can actually feel the burning in my throat. It sucks a big one.
Incidentally, it was tortellini in red sauce that got me the first time, too.
When I'm not pregnant, I generally avoid large or late portions of heavily sauced or greasy, fried things and that helps prevent heartburn. However, pregnancy heartburn is another story for me because I'm getting it from any and everything, regardless of whether it's fruit or heavy pasta.
