Anyone remember me talking about dd had a ghost in her room?

Dh was freaking out one day (months ago) because he heard over the monitor " and thank the lord for baby lily"

it turns out i heard it again when i was in her room and i turn around and it's a stupid stuffed rabbit. It says the little children's prayer. But it doesn't say her name it says "and thank the lord for our little baby"

I had no clue the thing did that - I guess she did.

I remember that! That is so funny, those toys freak me out. We have potty chair that goes off all the time, I am sure it is a short (even though some freaky stuff happens at our house) so I turned it off today.

When I was pregnant we had a huge box of old electronics in our office, sitting next to my desk. One day I was on the computer and I heard someone talking next to me. At first I thought it was DH's headphones, which are connected to his gaming server and he sometimes forgets to turn them off. I went to turn them off, and they already were. I kept hearing the voice, and it was freaking me out.

I finally figured out the voice was coming from the box, and dug around until I figured out what was doing it; one of our very old wireless phone handsets. It was picking up a voice from somewhere and was playing though our handset. It was a woman talking to her mother's answering machine - sounding really sad. The phone wasn't plugged into anything, and to this day it still creeps me out that we picked up this disembodied voice from nowhere (both our neighbors condos were empty at the time).

I had DH take the box away that night. I wouldn't be surprised if that phone still picks up ghost voicemails in our attic.

hilarous! We joke that Chief Snakelum is haunting our house. I kid you not, our house is built on a Native American archeological site and weird stuff happens all the time. Ben's toys constantly just go off for no reason. I don't really think we're haunted but it does make us think of the movie Poltergeist (or however that's spelled).

That is still freaky. Ds has a few toys that sometimes randomly go off, and occassionally dh and I will hear ds laughing and babbling to something through the moniter. We just figure it's dh's dad, who died when he was 13, just coming to say hi. Nothing's ever been too scary.
