Did your water break during L&D? If so, did it break early?

Just wondering since I had an amnio and had a preemie... can't help but wonder if there is ANY correlation.

I had an amnio and yes, my water broke on its own. However, it didn't break early (38 weeks)

I had an amnio and my water didn't break but it gave me regular contractions 5 mins apart, so they had to schedule my CS for the following day. I was 37w1d.

I had an amnio at 20 weeks and my water broke at 38, but I fell the day before it broke.

I had an amnio (at the normal time, I think it was 17 1/2 weeks) and never went into labor, my water never broke, DS never even dropped nor was I dilated in the slightest so finally at 41 weeks I had a c-section (instead of inducing me).

Im a sonographer in an OB dept and Im pretty sure there is a certain amount of time after an early amnio for genetic reasons that they can correlate, but its not up to delivery...lung maturity..I dont know LOL
