  I stop what im doing and try to soothe LO and see whats wrong.. If I can't console her I head to the check out.. yeah i get some stares but oh well!

   me too.  I definitely wouldn't leave without buying anything, or I'd never get anything done/purchased!

  I never go shopping without DH.
  Haha that may sound pathetic, but I always make sure he is with me, so we can both deal with Liam. He is a very fussy baby, and cries during almost every shopping trip - so it gives me horrible anxiety to take him out alone.

  If he has a fussy fit, I can take him out to the car and nurse him, change his diaper etc. while DH finishes shopping.
  If he's just fussy to be fussy, DH will walk him around the store/outside and rock him until he calms down, while I finish most of the shopping.

  It's an infant, it's not like we have 3 year olds that are just acting out! I'll just pick him up, check the diaper, offer a paci and usually one of those things works. He usually just sleeps though. I make sure I feed him beforehand, that helps I'm sure

  Exactly... I try to soothe him first but sometimes he just wakes up hungry and there isn't anything I can do so I just let him cry till I check out.

  I bring my bjorn carrier and put the DS in that and find that he is much more tolerable...if I don't he cries to get out of the car seat.

  I usually try a pacifier if that doesnt work I will hit a dressing room and try feeding her and if nothing is working and I really need/want that items I will get them and let her cry.
