Polyp inside uterus

I had a D&C 1.5 weeks ago for my miscarriage.  Yesterday it was discovered that there is a polyp inside my uterus.  It can potentially cause reoccurring miscarriages if I do not get it removed, and is possible that it caused the miscarriage I just had.  The process of removing it is similar to a D&C (and actually it could have been removed during the D&C if my doctor realized what it was beforehand!). 

I am still bleeding from the D&C, and the thought of going through a similar procedure all over again is overwhelming me.  It was advised that we do not TTC again though until the polyp is removed, and I just can't decide if I should get this procedure done right away or wait awhile.  I am so tired of all of this.  I don't want to step foot into another doctor's office or hospital again, but I also don't want to delay TTC again.  Ugh.

    I'm sorry that you are going through this.  I think it's ok to give yourself some time to before having the procedure.   Did your physician say it needed to be taken care of right away or just before you TTCAL?

    I had a polyp in my uterus removed before we conceived DD.  We were having difficulty getting pregnant and so my dr ordered an initial ultrasound after 6 months TTC and he found the polyp.  I had it removed and was pregnant 2 months later.  I did miscarry that baby but got pregnant with DD the following month.  It was a rollercoaster of emotions but the procedure was similar to the D&C without the emotional side of losing a baby.   Hope that helps!
