My office needs to me fly to another state next week. I'm smack in the middle of my 2ww. I have a call into my RE just to make sure, but if anyone has gotten that okay from their RE, would you just let me know?
Thanks!

Re: Has anyone flown during their 2WW?
I was asked to take a trip this week, just 2 days after my transfer, and I declined, and said I wouldn't be able to for the next 2 weeks.
I have no idea what the REs opinion is, but I didn't want the stress of dealing with business travel. Even when I'm not worried about cycling, business travel majorly stresses me out.
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
I can't imagine it is much of an issue since people travel for IVF treatments and typically return home for the 2ww.
My concern would be the monitoring appointments. I swear I go the the RE 3 times a week during the 2ww for bloodwork.
Me: 32 - Stage II Endo / DH: 36 - Low count and morphology (1%)
IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

My MFM doctor told me flying was okay as long as you:
a) stay hydrated--which means you will have to buy some overpriced water in the airport b/c the little cups they give you on the plane are not enough.
b) don't lift anything heavy--pack a rolling bag and check it (skycap is even better); make sure your carry-on is very light.
c) get up and move around once an hour during the flight to avoid blood clots.
FWIW, I didn't fly during my 2WW/early pregnancy and it still didn't turn out well.
I never even thought about it...
I'm supposed to fly to Ireland in my 2ww and told my nurse b/c I wanted to know if I could get b/w done OOT and she was totally fine w/ it.
I also know multiple people who've traveled to/from my clinic for IVF and fly home in the 2ww.
