DPIUI question

Hi- I am normally on the TTCAL.. but I dont really know where I belong.

anyway - I've been on clomid - and just had my first trigger on 9/5 and then IUI on the morning of 9/6 and have been on progesterone suppositories. I am trying to figure out how many dpiui I am... Does the day you get the IUI count as day 1? or is it the next day?

i am so anxious to test - but dont want to get a BFP unless it's real.

I had my IUI on the same day as you, 9/6, but triggered on 9/4. Hope you're doing well. Good luck cycle buddy!

I am a sap! I totally tested this morning and got a BFN... I am trying to thing *ok.. the meds are officially out of my system. Now time for a BFP.

I honestly dont think its happening this cycle though. I feel all periody. what about you?

Hello ladies,

I just had my first IUI on 9/12 and was wondering if you all experienced any cramping afterwards. It's Thursday and although the cramping is subsiding a bit, it's still sort of there. Normally I don't cramp until about a week before AF. I called my RE and they said this was normal but just wanted to share symptoms with someone else who is going through the same thing.

HA, I'm just as bad as you, I tested out my Ovidrel all week and I can't lie it was nice to see what a + HPT looked like. It was out as of Tuesday, tested last night and this morning today and I swear I saw a faint + both times on the CBE +/- HPT. But who knows. My RE won't do b/w until 14 dpiui and a + HPT, totally understandable. It's funny though, I've been so negative about this entire cycle, because I used Femara for the first time, had 3 follicles but they weren't big enough, then I went back and there was only one follicle, it measured 15mm so I triggered that Saturday (my parents 40th anniversary) which was CD17, had the IUI on Monday (CD19) which is later than I usually O. Technically I should wait to test until Sunday (Dad's birthday). But I've been oddly crampy, crazy lower back pain, sore bbs and a face that hasn't started breaking out yet like it usually does when AF comes. But I'm sure that's just me reading into things.

So, I'm skeptical, but hopeful still. This is actually my first time back to an RE since January 2010, had a bad experience with our second opinion RE, this after my first RE released me in June 2009 because I am not doing IVF. I love my new RE, she's aggressive, but knows what our limitations are ($$$).

what!? you got a faint +??? I think you got something there! I was soooooo praying for that this morning! My RE wont do one until 14dpiui either.. so i feel ya there. Actually it might be 16.. she told me 2 weeks after i started the prog suppositories.

Yeah the sore BB's were the sign my last 2 BFP - I dont have them now so I am not getting my hopes up.. kinda. i guess my hopes are always up cus i am psycho i guess.

If this cycle doesnt work I am going on Femera too. My lining was really thin. I went CD12 and my follie was a 17 and lining was a 3. She started me on baby aspirin and had me come back 2 days later hoping to get the lining to a 5 but wasnt going to IUI at all- and when i went back it was a 7!! - my follie was a 23! I was sooooo happy! So we triggered and did IUI the next day after all.

I have been really oddly crampy too - and bloated and hungry. But dont have the back pain, acne and sore BBs you do.. mine seems like AF to me...

I'm secretly optimistic, but I'm afraid to actually believe it. So, I'm going to wait until Sunday to test again. I just ran out to get lunch because I was so famished I was nauseous again, that happened to me last night while working late, I had to eat something as soon as I got in the car after I picked up the food because I didn't think I'd make it home without it. I should add that my sense of smell is out of control, I was hunting around the house last night for some odd smell, turned out it was the cat food and DH didn't smell anything different than normal.

I have to admit, I love the Femara. The fact that the side effects were so minimal as compared to Clomid was amazing. The last IUI cycle I did in May 2009 was a 150 Clomid cycle, it was brutal. I honestly contemplated killing my husband and letting the dog loose because they were both snoring one night. I told DH if they put me on that much again, he'd have to put me in the guest room and stick a lock on the OUTSIDE of the door to keep me from getting out and killing him or setting the dog loose.

IT'S NOT AF Smile ! I'm going to be as positive as possible for you, it could still be anything, so I'm saying you're going to get your BFP on 12dpiui, which I think is the next time I'm going to test! You keep me posted!

I hear ya about clomid! I felt like that the cycle I got PG with DD. Honest to God, I threw a pen at my boss in the middle of my annual review! I ran out and told him "I am done" and then attempted to walk home! But then stopped and cried in some bushes while i tried to decide if i should just walk to a hospital and admit myself or just go home. i knew i was too upset to drive. Luckily (?) I work with DH and my boss told him to go find me and he did. I really scared the hell outta both of us that day. And I was only on 50mg!!!

But i havent felt that way on it at all this time around... so i feel like it is not working now or something.

Is Femera more expensive or something? why do they have people do clomid first? I forget what the RE said...

I don't know why they have people use Clomid first. But I do know that my new RE said that after the attempted murder and release plotting, she's never putting me on that. With Femara, I had some cramping, a hot flash here and there, but my goodness it was like a walk in the park in comparison!

Wow, your story is wild, way crazier than mine. Although I really don't know how I didn't lose it at work, especially on a 150mg dose, my goodness what was my old RE thinking?
