DS hates DH

Everytime DS is in DH's arms for more than 5 minutes Ds starts screaming. When does this end?

    I think it's a boy thing... my DS prefers me.  My DD, however, is a TOTAL daddy's girl, so we're lucky in that way :)

    It has gotten better than it was initially, though, probably because I was nursing DS for the first 6 weeks.

    DD is almost 3 months and she still does this everytime her dad hold her, but it's only if I am here.  If it's just those two, she is fine, but if I am here, she starts screaming and will not stop until I take her.

    My DD was the exact same way and my DH was so upset about it. It was around 3.5-4 months that she grew out of it and now she sometimes prefers him to me.

    this was also true at our house until he hit about 2 months. ?i think it's because of the way my DH was holding him and his inability to soothe him. ?

    now, DS needs soothing less and less and DH has figured out how to soothe, so it has gotten better. ?DS is now happy as a clam in DH's arms and they spend the mornings together when i go to work without any issues.

    hang in there, it will get better. ?have you tried leaving the house so DH HAS to figure out a way to soothe instead of tense up??
