When we had my ds we didn't start looking until we were 6 months plus. We did two interviews with two different pedictrians. It helped us with deciding. We go see Dr. Mark Domet. He is out at Boys Town Pediatrics. HTH
I started looking for a pediatrician when I was 7-8 months pregnant. I chose Boystown Pediatrics lakeside office. All of the doctors there are great and the nurses also
All I can say is make sure you do it sooner rather than later. I kept putting it off and when I went into labor early still hadn't chosen one. I ended up just getting who my OB recommended, luckily he's been great so far. We also go to Boys Town lakeside. But it would have been nice to have met him ahead of time.
Re: WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR A PEDICTRIAN FOR MY BABY?
I know it is on the Bump checklist but I can't remember what week they suggested looking. I am still have not confirmed who we are going with.
You should share who your doctor recommends - always good to get more referrals!
