*updated* Do I need to call the dr? HSG follow-up

in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

It's been 48 hrs since the HSG.  I'm still spotting.  I just took my temp and it's 99.8.  I checked my temp yesterday and it was 98.6.  Normal for me is around 97.4 even in to the high 96's.  I did take some advil yesterday since I was still having some cramping.  Is this normal or do I need to call in?

*Update:  They called in an antibiotic.  I kind of wish the nurse would have told it was nothing, but at least if it is something, it's early and the antibiotics will take care of it.

    I'm sorry, but I don't know much about HSGs.  But I do think a call to the Dr. never hurts if you're concerned.  I hope your body straightens up ASAP...please keep us posted.

    Are you cramping or in any pain?

    I think spotting is normal and wouldn't give too much weight to one temp. If you continue spotting tomorrow with more temp rises then you might want to just check in.

    But bottom line for me anyway is, "I'm sure they've heard worse... I'll just go ahead and ask what might be a stupid question." If it gives you peace of mind - CALL.

    This. Besides, if it is the beginning of an infection, you want to catch it early.

    No pain or cramping right now.  I suppose I'll call, they can laugh at me if they want.

    Late to the party but my doctor gave me a script for antibiotics to take the day before, day of, and day after- I suppose this is why. I hope you feel better soon. Make sure you take acidophiles or yogurt to prevent a YI.

    Oh no! I just got back from my HSG and they gave me antibiotics to take as a precaution.  It couldn't hurt!  I hope you feel better soon.

    I'm glad you called the doc and I hope you start feeling better soon.  The spotting is normal but it's best to be on the safe side.

    glad to see that you called, infections are nothing to mess around with especially after a procedure.
