  1. Have you started thinking about and buying Christmas gifts for your LO?
  2. Do/will you have any special Christmas traditions you will carry on with your LO?
  3. Even if your LO is young(Preston will only be 9 months old) will Santa be bringing them anything or will all of their gifts be from you?

I've started thinking about Christmas...we have always gone to my brothers house on Chirstmas morning b/c he had the children but now that we have Preston I'm starting to feel like I want to spend more time with him at our house, ya know...start our own tradition...

    1. Yes, we are going to get her a play kitchen and all the accessories to go with it.  I have actually bought one basket of food that was on clearance at Target.

    2.  I don't really have anything too special.  My parents always read the Night Before Christmas and the Christmas Story from the Bible before going to bed on Christmas Eve with us, and we also do that.

    3.  I don't think we gave her anything separate last year, and probably won't this year either.

    Oh, and we will always spend Christmas morning alone at our home as a family.  We start with larger family gatherings at lunch.

    1. Have you started thinking about and buying Christmas gifts for your LO?   yes - I bought Avery a toy Dyson and a pop up tent.  She's done except for stocking stuffers (we have lots of grandparents and her bday is only 2 months before - plus...she's 2!)
    2. Do/will you have any special Christmas traditions you will carry on with your LO?  We don't really have any - other than just to spend time together as a family and spend as much time in our Jammies as possible :)
    3. Even if your LO is young(Preston will only be 9 months old) will Santa be bringing them anything or will all of their gifts be from you? I might do one gift from santa this year - she won't really know until next year.

    1.  I think we're going to get her a swing and a toddler slide for the back yard.  That could change though.  As of now, we haven't gotten anything yet.

    2.  No, but I would love to create some.  I'm interested in seeing what others are doing.

    3. I don't think so.  It's not like she has any idea who Santa is.

    1. Have you started thinking about and buying Christmas gifts for your LO? We bought him this and have the Madagascar movies for him (just because he used to go crazy kicking whenever we watched them on TV when I was pregnant).  We probably will do books and some clothes, but will not do too much more because his birthday is a little over a month after Christmas and his grandparents are going to spoil him rotten.
    2. Do/will you have any special Christmas traditions you will carry on with your LO? Not really other than Fantasy in Lights...can't wait to do Elf on the Shelf one day.
    3. Even if your LO is young will Santa be bringing them anything or will all of their gifts be from you? Not sure about this year.  Next year we will definitely have Santa gifts (heck, I still get Santa from my parents Embarrassed)

    1. Have you started thinking about and buying Christmas gifts for your LO? I've started thinking about it, but I'm not sure what we will get since she will only be 4 months old. 
    2. Do/will you have any special Christmas traditions you will carry on with your LO? We always went to see the Christmas lights at the zoo in Bham, and DH and I have been doing it here the last few years.  I would love to go to Fantasy in Lights, but I'm afraid she may be too young this year.
    3. Even if your LO is young will Santa be bringing them anything or will all of their gifts be from you? If we don't do Santa gifts, I'm sure my mom will.  Santa (and the Easter Bunny) still show up at her house!

    1. Have you started thinking about and buying Christmas gifts for your LO? Yes we know what we are getting her, but we haven't actually bought anything yet.  Her birthday is 2 months before Christmas so we are working on that now.
    2. Do/will you have any special Christmas traditions you will carry on with your LO? I plan on doing the Elf on the Shelf starting probably next year.  I still think she is too young for it this year.  We read her the Christmas Story last year on Christmas Eve and we will do it again this year.  Also when she is older we'll bake cookies together, and as soon as we think she understands as a family we will do something for someone less fortunate. 
    3. Even if your LO is young(Preston will only be 9 months old) will Santa be bringing them anything or will all of their gifts be from you? Santa brought her one gift last year and she was barely 2 months old.  He will be bringing her gifts this year, even though I know she doesn't know who he is but I like doing it.  We do 3 gifts from Mommy and Daddy and then Santa gifts.  We chose 3 because that is how many gifts Jesus was brought when he was born.  I got the idea from my brother and SIL who do it for my niece.
