Invitation question...

I'm handling the invitations and favors for my shower and I just noticed that my number one invitation choice model doesn't indicate who is hosting the shower.   I tried to squeeze it in, but the template doesn't have enough room to type in an extra line, nevermind 3 names.   Should all invitations necessarily indicate the host?  There would be one name for the RSVP, so you could gather the host (or at least one of them) from that, but that's it. 

I never thought about it, until I started comparing invitations.

    My mother is hosting my shower. The invitations she selected do not have a spot designated for "host". She does have her name under the rsvp section.  

    Since you have 3 hosts, is there a way to fit all of their names under the rsvp section? Otherwise it will just look like the one person you list is hosting. I would be careful not to offend the two other hosts... maybe you could run this by them?

    Can I ask where you are buying these invitations that don't allow you to totally customized your own text? When I buy my shower invites, I could put any text I want. My last shower, we had 4 hostesses and RSVP to a different person. Maybe get your invites elsewhere? I got mine at Baby Cachet and I could add as many lines as I want. Hope that helps!

    I actually do invitations and writing the host is not mandatory nor is it weird to not include it, but on the otherhand, you might want to confer with the hosts and ask them how they feel and explain your situation, so there won't be any hurt feelings or misunderstandings.  If you still want to announce them, you can always make a thank you speech and call out your hosts at the end of your shower or when you finish opening your gifts... that's what I will be doing.

    They are on tinyprints.  I can move the text around, but between adding the host line and the 3 host names, plus the RSVP date, it was throwing off the spacing.  I improvised a bit, and did add a line for the hosts but didn't use their last names to save space and removed the RSVP date.  So, it worked in the end.
