Anyone heard of this? I discovered this concept through a link to another blog on nlsanchez's FB photography blog (Thanks N! . I love this idea and have signed up to do it. I thought I'd share. Since I love to travel and don't seem to get to do it anymore since having children (this saddens me right now), I thought I could live vicariously through postcards. The idea is you send out postcards to random people around the world (the site sends you addresses of other members) and then you get postcards back from random members throughout the world (granted this concept won't work for those leary about sharing your address but I'm game). This is even talked about on Wikipedia.
My first five countries to send postcards to are: Netherlands (ironic, given DH's family is from there), Germany, Russia, Belarus, and Macau). I'm super excited about this.

Our nearest mailing store (not a post office or FedEx, etc but a store someone opened just to let people mail things and buy nic nacs) has them too.
