  I did 3 rounds of it w/TI. I responded well, and had very little side effects with it. Certainly much less than some report with Clomid.

  m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

  My first month I had a few hot flashes, a little bloating and I was a little emotional but only on the first day.  The 2nd and 3rd month on Femara I didn't have any side effects.

  I only did one round of femara. I didn't have any side effects that I can think of. I only produced one large follicle so I switched to injections after that cycle.

  After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.

  I haven't had any side effects - I've had what I'm calling phantom cramping b/c when I went to my US last Thursday I had no growth whatsover in my follies. I go back today for another US to see if there is any growth. So I don't think I responded, but I know many women who did, and all I've noticed is some cramping - which is likely in my head/wishful thinking.

  My RE switched me from clomid to femera saying femera had less rate of m/c.  Honestly I didn't have any s/e with it and got pregnant from it so I am very happy we used femera.  Good luck!

  I did three rounds and had better results with it than Clomid (including getting a BFP).

  No side effects, but I didn't get any side effects from Clomid either, so I don't know if I'm the best judge of character for that.

  My first round with 5mg I produced follies but not large enough to trigger. The 2nd round they upped me to 7.5mg and I got pregnant with that, a trigger and TI. I never had any negative side effects from either dose.

  6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.

  I've done two rounds & had no side effects.  I did get pregnant on the second round, but ended up m/c.

  
  Married 1/2/99.
  TTC since 4/09.
  Diagnosed PCOS. Diagnosed Hypothryoid 11/09.
  SHG & SA normal. PCOS Research study started 5/10.
  Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
  Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
  11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
  5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.

  One round for me so far and I've had fewer side effects compared to Clomid. I've had a little bit of cramping, sort of emotional, but not near as much as Clomid.  Follicles are a little smaller and fewer but still good.  The biggest difference is that my lining is 8 mm on Femara but it was way, way too thin on Clomid, 3-4 mm.

  I concived my son on it. We did 5mg + trigger and IUI. I had very little side effects on it but I couldn't drink on it. However I know plenty of girls who drank on it and were fine. I did have headaches but they went away with tylonol. Good luck and I hope Femara is your lucky drug!

  I had some cramping and pain near my right ovary, where I had a big follicle growing. Other than that, nothing! Good luck!!

  Thank you for all the responses ladies!! It especially makes me hopeful that I won't have as bad of side effects as I did with Clomid (fingers crossed). Guess we'll see how it goes...
