corpus luteum cyst

Has anyone found that they have a corpus luteum cyst on their ovary during ultrasound? This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me. The ultrasound tech said that some women get them with pregnancy and they eventually go away as your pregnancy progresses. I was curious if anyone else has advice on this?

    I have a cyst on my ovary now, not sure if it was specifically classified that but they noticed it on my right ovary at my first ultrasound. We aren't sure if it's always been there or maybe grew due to the pregnancy, but it hasn't caused me any pain or issues. It didn't grow in size nor did it go away after my pregnancy, and it didn't have any impact on my pregnancy at all.  If i were to have a c-section, my dr was planning on having it removed at the same time, but i didn't need one, so we gave it a few months to see if it would dissolve but it hasn't.  My LO is about 8 months now. Sooo i'm finally getting it removed this week.

    That's great that it was nothing to worry about and that it didn't cause you any distress during your pregnancy. So far, mine hasn't been painful or uncomfortable at all. Hope it just eventually goes away. Glad you were able to finally get yours removed and hope it went well!
