What are you ladies using? I have done a ton of research on different CDs but none on what kind of pail to use lol...I am thinking about doing a load of laundry every other day...but won't it get super stink in that pail? What are my options?
We haven't gotten to use ours yet (come on baby, get here!) but the lady at the CD store recommended using a plain ole kitchen trash can with a flippy/spin lid that doesn't seal shut so there is lots of air flow. She swore there is way less stink the more air there is...
At home we use a small garbage can (no lid) lined with a pillow case. I do diaper laundry every 2-3 days and the only time I ever smell them is when I'm actually taking each one out (of the can) to remove the pocket insert and put them into the wash.
We just have a standard kitchen trash pail with a flip-lid. We also are keeping ours in the garage so it's ventilated and won't stink up the house... And maybe get DH to get out of the garage sometimes
We also have a flip top trash can. I use a planet wise pail liner and put a few drops of essential oils on a wipe and put it in the bottom of the pail liner with some baking soda. So far it keeps everything fresh. I keep the lid open at all times and we wash every other day.
Yep. Flip top step trash can with 2 planetwise liners so I have one when the other is in the wash. No stink issues until 1/2 day after 2 of DD's overnight diapers are in there. She sleeps 12+ hours every night so her overnight diapers are super pee pee smelling. I was every other day, though...

adn I have 2 Planetwise pail liners so I have a spare when one is in the wash. Works great and no stink issues.
