One of the weirdest baby names I've heard

A girl I used to swim with just had her baby and announced his name on Facebook- Rip.  WTF??  Am I the only one who finds it incredibly odd to name a baby Rip?

    Honestly, the name just may have been inspired by her vag delivery as this kid weighed 10 lbs, 11oz!  That was the first thing DH said, too, LOL.

    I got two for you...Krew and Stryder.  And oddly enough, its a girl I used to swim with too, haha! 

    And yea, Rip is a bit weird.  I thought of Rip Torn too, as PP said

    I don't care much for the name Rip.  I can just imagine the recess abuse that kid will take.

    My cousin's name is Payne, and I thought that was bad.
