I have a random question about buying furniture. We bought a microfiber chaise lounge from VCF today and as the guy was ringing us up, he went into the spiel about how they recommend the stain-proofing blah blah blah. But he didn't ask us if we wanted it or tell us how much it cost but when I look at the charges on the screen, I see that he put the stain treatment on there and it's $60. First I was annoyed that he just assumed that we wanted it and put it on there without asking and second, I hate how with everything you buy nowadays no matter what it is, they try to up-sell you on everything (ever try to get JUST an oil change at Jiffy Lube?). And why doesn't the furniture just come with the treatment in the first place??? I mean, who WANTS stain-able furniture?!
They told us there were 10 in the warehouse so my question is do you think that they take them from the warehouse as they are bought and treat them individually, that they have some treated and some not treated, OR are they ALL treated and they just charge the people who say yes?? Suckers, haha just kidding
