So tempted to TTC 1st cycle

I think I am having fertile CM. Doctor told us to wait a couple of cycles before TTC. We want to follow her directions. However, it is so hard to refrain from TTC when I know I may be fertile. How did you get through the cylces b/w loss and TTC?

    We were told to wait till our 2nd cycle after with our first loss.  Then with our second loss they started us on Clomid and told us that if WE feel ok then go for it.  I asked the Dr why he told us to wait till 2nd cycle last loss and he told me b/c he didnt think we were ready not b/c of my body.

    I have to say that you should wait the 2 cycles before you TTC because that's what your Dr said to do.

    And now, my shameless answer as to how I got through the following cycles. I went for it anyway since it was an early loss at 6w3d and my Dr. gave me the OK after the final check up. This was in April and havent' gotten PG yet though.

    Started TTC in August 2007, 1st BFP March 2008, natural m/c April 11th, 2008. 2nd BFP 1/1/09, diagnosed with possible ectopic 1/16/09, got Methotrexate shot 1/18/09. On Bromocriptine to balance my high prolactin levels (thanks to tiny brain tumor) that messes with my body. Long cycles and unexplained infertility suck monkey balls! July 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot TI prog. supps= negative. August 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot IUI prog. supps=negative. September 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot b2b IUI's prog. supps: negative. October 09- Clomid 100mg HCG b2b IUI's prog.supps: negative. November 09- cycle cancelled due to cyst.... IVF is next.... December 09- Beginning of IVF, Lupron, BCP's Jan-Feb 10- IVF retrieved 6 matured eggs, all fertilized, 2 transferred, 1 lost, 3 frozen= BFP! betas: 8dp5dt (13dpo)= 176, 11dp5dt (16dpo)= 728! October 2010: Boy/Girl twins born. Now... trying to get fit!

    With our first mc we waited 2 cycles per my dr.  With this mc my dr said to wait 1 cycle.  It was hard to wait both times but we felt that it was for the best and we also weren't emotionally ready right away.  Good luck with whatever you decide.

    I waited one cycle after my first m/c.  After my second m/c the doc told me to wait again, but when I questioned it he admitted that it was fine not to wait if I felt ready.  He also said your body would know if it was ready too.  But, I've read other posts with compelling information about physical reasons to wait, so I don't know what to think.
    4/08 BFP resulted in m/c
    8/08 BFP resulted in m/c
    3/09 Polyp removed and dx MTHFR (both copies)
    6 Clomid cycles, all BFN
    5/09 IUI#1 with Clomid=BFN
    6/09 IUI#2 with Clomid=BFN
    8/09 IUI#3 with Clomid=BFN
    IVF#1 = BFN
    IVF#2 = BFN
    IVF#3 ET 2 Grade A blasts 11/16/11
    Beta #1: 485
    Beta #2: 2,495

    We didn't have to wait after our first mc, but this past one we were told to wait until after our first af. We did wait, mostly because I was 11.5wks and had a natural mc, it did take a bit of a toll on my body and I knew I had better wait. The dr. told me it would be more likely that I would not be able to carry if I did get pg before my first flow.
