I was sitting watching S the other day completely amazed. She was singing and doing the motions for itsy bitsy spider herself. I didn't get it at first because obviously she can't say all the words but when I sang with her, she did it. LOVE!
Whenever I say 'love you' (like if I'm the phone with DH), DD blows kisses. She's also just started to feed her baby doll with her sippy or little pieces of food.
TTC #1 since 6/08. Cycle #6 - BFP 12/22/08, EDD 9/3/09, DD 8/14/09 at 37w1d
We taught our girl 'touchdown', too! It's part of 'if you're happy and you know it' for us. Our girl is 22 months and is saying most of her alphabet, and tries to count with us. The 'hauchhh' she comes out with for H is hiliarous. She said dub yuuu yesterday, but then my hubby repeated it as Ju ju and she started saying that instead. This week she started nodding her head for yes instead of saying 'please' as an affirmative!
DS can identify & say "Hawk" when looking at a Jayhawk (University of Kansas)! I am a proud mama because DH went to Kansas State so I'm starting DS on the right road early
DD's daycare ladies have been teaching her itsy bitsy spider as well. It is so cute because she is so proud of herself when she does it. She claps at everything now too. Anything she does she claps and says YAH afterwards. I love watching her because every day it is something new.
J notices dogs EVERYWHERE. Anytime we go to the store he starts doing his pant/woof sound if he sees a dog on a greeting card, sign or advertisement. So, so fun.
My daughter is picking up more and more French. She is getting very good at copying what we say and does "Ainsi Font" (a nursery rhyme) with the hand movements. It's so freaking cute!
DS likes to play on the bed, and he has been pretend sleeping. He flops down on his stomach and lays there for a few seconds. then gets up and moves to a new spot and does it again. And last night he was standing behind me while i was sitting on the floor, "hiding", and I would ask, "where is Evan?" and he would walk around in front of me, like hey, here I am, and laugh his butt off.

I had the coolest thing happen today. DS was playing w/ a toy and 2 pieces were missing. I said uh oh we are missing some pieces, not thinking anything else about it. About 2 min later I see him pulling all his clothes out of his hamper so I just sat back to see what he was doing. When he got to the bottom he pulled out the 2 missing pieces. Not sure when he put them there, but I was so amazed!! I love watching him learn.
Awe, too cute! DS has been giving tons of hugs and kisses lately and he's learned some animal sounds. He knows what ducks, cows, dragons and lions say.
DS is a serious dancer. As soon as he hears a few beats of music his little arm goes up and his head starts bopping, no matter where he is or what he's doing. Recently he's learning more styles of dance -- if we say "bachata" he'll shake his shoulders, "salsa" gets him to twist his waist and wave his arms about, and he does an exaggerated version of the arm in the air head bop thing to hip-hop. His newest move is to stomp his feet really fast as he dances (he started doing this after playing with one of those foot pianos at the children's museum last week).
Oh, and he gives hugs, which just about breaks my heart. If I'm kneeling on the floor or something he'll run up behind me and hug my back. He also runs to hug his cousins (and sometimes other random kids) around the knees whenever he sees them.

We've been saying the alphabet to her and I guess it's really catching on; when we start out with "A" she will follow with saying "B" and goes like that through almost the entire alphabet!!!!! She can't say "U" or "R" yet. But it's pretty awesome!
She loves puzzles and will put her animal puzzle together and say the sounds for cow, pig (she snorts LOL), and horse.

DD has been great at knocking blocks over, but just recently started stacking them.
Her big new trick chasing the dog around by pushing the highchair and smashing into him. Poor dog.
Disclaimer: No animals were injured during the process of this evil toddler stunt.

My favorite thing is her pairing her words together, for example "Hi Kitty" when she see's our cat!
She counts to 3.. even though you can't make out the "three"
And her newest thing is teasing us.. she'll fuss like she wants out of her crib and if you try to pick her up she giggles and falls on her butt.
