LO in cahoots with diaper companies

All I do is change diapers.  DS cannot stand to be wet it seems and gets upset when his diaper is the tiniest bit wet (as in the line barely changes colors).  I cringe to think how many diapers I change a day.  I don't want to keep him in dirty diapers obviously, but when I change him three times in 15 minutes, I keep thinking I must be interrupting him.  Thankfully he does sleep at night without constant changes.

He is BF and doesn't have diaper rash (how could he, he is never wet for more than 2.8 seconds).  We use Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive diapers.  I am tempted to try a different type of diaper and see if that helps keep him happy.   Anyone else having this?

  • You should try cloth diapers.  We were planning on doing cloth but used disposables in the hospital.  After a few days at home, he developed an awful rash/burn.  Now that we are using cloth full-time, no problems.  They are far easier to use than I ever thought they would be.

lol at 2.8 seconds. I honestly don't think DD gives a hoot what's going on in her diaper. I change her after she wakes up from her naps and more if I smell her or can feel her pee (sometimes when nursing I can hear/feel it).

  • If we use pampers sensitive, I feel like I am constantly changing diapers.  I have noticed that when we use pampers baby dry, LO doesn't seem to get as upset.
  • I could have written this post myself !! She would wake up from her nap because she just pee or is *getting ready* to pee! She's be asleep in my arm, then eyes wide open and I was like--what happened? I checked her diaper, it's dry, then a few seconds later, it's wet. I had tried the Baby Dry when she was younger, but I couldn't tell the difference--I don't know if it was because she was younger and still had to go every hour anyways!
