in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+
all clotting testing came back normal but MTHFR came back with two mutations noted so there's an answer...waiting to hear back from OB on where we go from here

    Glad to hear they found something!  As backwards as that sounds ;)
    Connor Thomas 6/6/08. Discovered missed miscarriage at 17 wks 3 days, D&C 11/25/09. Please, please, please - BFP 5/21/11, EDD 2/1/11. Beta@12DPO=52, Beta@14DPO=158. U/S 7/7/11 shows strong baby measuring a couple days ahead!!! Pregnancy Ticker

    So, baby aspirin, shiit ton of FA and Lovenox. And a healthy baby. Let's do this!

    Okay, so you are compound Homozygous.

    I imagine it's going to be the routine I mentioned above. They might also advise you to start cutting back on caffeine, just because it can block FA, and you want to give your body the best shot at taking it all in.

    It's bittersweet, isn't it?  You have an answer but the answer is a pain in the ass.  I'm glad you have something to go off of now though!  Keep us posted.

    It's so weird to feel a sense of relief that they've found something wrong with you, isn't it? I so totally hope that this is what allows you to have your healthy baby!

    It's so frustrating not knowing what's wrong and at least when you have an answer you can move foward with a good plan.  I wish you the best and hope they get your plan moving soon.
