I posted yesterday about how I had mature follicles on Clomid but still hadn't ovulated and didn't know if I should start the prometrium. I called my doctors office and left a message, and the nurse called me back this morning. She said my OB said to start the prometrium tonight. When I asked why, she said she didn't know, that's just what the doc said. Ugh. I wish I could talk to the doc directly. I just don't understand. I don't get why I wouldn't wait to possibly O or get a trigger to make me O. What a waste of a cycle. I just want to go home and cry.
Re: Update to WWTTCAL6+D?
How frustrating! I'm sorry sweetie.
It's weird your doc doesn't want to confirm an O with your temps at least...that's what my RE does.

I thought it was weird too because I always ovulate on my own, so I would think that I would ovulate on Clomid. I guess she's thinking I'm not going to O this cycle.

I second this!
You really should be able to get at least a couple of minutes of your doctor's time, if you need it. Cutting through the "middle woman" should make for a much shorter/clearer conversation!
I also totally understand if you just want to take the stupid meds, sob, & be done with everything.
Hope this ordeal has some resolution for you soon... ((BIG HUGS))

You should not feel bad about calling back and asking to speak to the Dr. You should be able to express your exact concern (because it is completely valid) and get an explanation. You put a lot into every cycle and would never want to throw one away by jumping the gun by a couple of days! I understand exaclty how you feel. Call back and keep us updated!
