I was getting ready for work yesterday morning when all of a sudden, I just felt pain in my back and down the back of my left leg, and I couldn't stand up straight or walk. I had to CRAWL to the bedroom to get my phone so I could call my boss and tell her I wasn't coming in. I went to see the chiropractor, but since I'm pregnant, there's only so much maneuvering he can do.
Yesterday was miserable. I couldn't walk, stand up on my own, or even roll over in the bed. I had to call in this morning, and I don't know if my boss was that happy about it. Today is better...at least I can walk a little, but now I'm having this lovely round ligament pain. My whole pelvis hurts!
The chiropractor thinks it's mostly because the LO is so squirmy. He said it may happen again as the baby gets bigger. I hope not
I've got 5 star accommodations in there...what did I do to deserve this?
Re: Herniated disc + RLP = not happy momma
I literally can barely walk when I get out of bed.
my husband had to help me 3 times to try to get up. Then I needed to go to the bathroom and I couldn't bend over and put the toilet seat up.
I'm so sorry that you're in pain-I feel ya. It especially doesn't help when the doctor says "Well, that's normal" you're in so much pain you think-"There has to be SOMETHING wrong.
sigh.
I did a couple of years ago. I have one at my L4 and 5. I've had trouble with it in the past, but nothing like this. But I also think there's something going on in my hip as well. I have meralgia paresthetica, where the inguinal nerve gets pinched in the hip. I've had for several years, but it's gotten a lot worse since yesterday.
