Trying to Get Pregnant

another big temp drop at 8dpo, but should I adjust? please advise

so yesterday my temp dipped on 7dpo to my cover line which it doesn't usually do until the day I get af or shortly after.  No af.  This morning my temp dipped down quite a bit more and is now well below my cl at 8dpo, no af when waking up. The temp in our house today is 4 degrees cooler (at 69) than usual and we have the fan on directly above our bed (we often have the fan on but house is usually at 73).

So based on the house temp being 4 degrees cooler do you think that had an affect on this morning's temp? If so would you adjust the temp and how do you do it, I think ff has an adjuster but I don't know how to use it.

And I was somewhat hoping yesterday, 7dpo, may have been an implantation dip, but that only lasts one day right?  So now I'm worried even more about today's dip.  My lp is usually only 10 days but I don't get dips like this until af like I said above. Any hope left for me?

*Edited, just realized ff's temp adjuster is for when you temp at a different time. So how would I adjust for the temp chance in my house being 4 degrees less than usual?

  • I was wondering the same thing. We sleep with our ceiling fan on medium in our bedroom. What are your thoughts on that efffecting temp?

  • I feel like if it's consistent it probably doesn't matter since if it affects your temp it would consistently do so but if there are other non-consistent factors such as what I'm asking about above with the whole house temp being 4 degrees lower that may have more of an effect.  But that may just be my thinking.

  • You have short LP's so maybe this is just one of the really short ones. I've seen your charts dip about 9dpo. Hope it goes back up!

  • I would leave it. My question is, if you adjust it how are you going to know by how much? There are a lot of seasonal changes we all go through when temping. We go from the air conditioning to open windows, to the heat being on, to the open windows, and so on.

  • Thank you for the replies. I don't know how much to adjust by, that was part of my question. And yes my lp is usually 10 days and will dip right before or after af but this is a few days earlier than expected. That's what I was afraid of, having an even shorter lp despite increasing b6 to 150mg. Usually the temp in our house is pretty consistent even with season changes because we adjust the thermostat, except for last night which is why I asked.
