low beta concerns

Have any of you ever heard of or had an experience of a beta as low as mine - 28.3 at 13p3dt  Any stories of encouragement of would be helpful.  I am very hopeful, but of course I am nervous. Thanks so much!

Re: low beta concerns

  • Hey sweetie - have you tried posting this over at Success after IF? Was thinking you might get more responses over there!?! I am SO crossing my fingers for you on Wed that you get a huge rise!

  • Great idea - just posted over there as well.  Thanks so much!!

  • No advice, but fingers and toes are crossed. You just crossed my mind while meeting with a client strangely enough. Keep us posted.

  • I'm pretty sure we've had a few stories like that... stay positive!  Look for a girl named Tabitha on PAIF, I think she started out with a kinda low beta at first and posted the same question.  She may have some insight for you!

I think you are right.  If I remember correctly Tab's beta was 11.

I think ur are right on with this.  I remember she had a "vanishing twin" and it was making her betas really weird.  But she was, indeed pregnant.  I think i am remembering correctly.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fingers XX for you!! There's hope! It's not so much the beta # as it is the doubling factor. Sticky vibes coming your way********
  • My first beta was 34 at 10p5dt, but it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy.  My nurse did tell me that the number itself wasn't as important as the increase at your next beta (doubling or tripling every 2-3 days), so stay hopeful!!  Good luck!
