Hey ladies! Hope all your little ones are doing fab! Hopefully I will be posting on this board soon! Not preggers YET but workin on it.

Ok, so my BFF has a shower on the 25th and I want to do something different for her gift so I thought about getting her all the hospital essentials for her delivery. Kind of like a Day of Delivery Kit. What are some things you wish you had when you were at the hospital giving birth? I want to get her a comfy outfit too. Any websites that have ideas?

Not that it matters for the mom, but she is NOT finding out the sex of the baby.......

nursing pj's/robe/slippers

nursing cover for when visitors are there (I really wish I had this).

magazines, snacks, nice smelling lotions

goodies to eat! The hospital food sucked - so hubs brought in some of my favorite snacks.

I bought a really nice comfy nursing gown from the gap - I loved it!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I will be able to find all the little goodies you guys mentioned. The baby is due on Thanksgiving Day. I wonder if I should make that kind of the theme?

If she has a vag delivery it's not as big of a deal, but I ended up with a c/s, so I was in the hospital for several days. ?Having my own nursing sleep bras and nursing gown was wonderful, as well as a comfy robe and slippers. ?I didn't want to use any scented lotions, etc. since I didn't know how baby would react. ?Sad as it is, having my favorite candy bar for after delivery was great, even though I had to wait longer because of the surgery and my stupid liquid diet.
