Taking LO to football game?

Has anyone taken their LO to a football game? DH and I wanted to drive over to our college to catch a football game this fall, but can't decide if it is a good idea or not. What was your experience like? DH is afraid it will be too loud for him, since he will only be 3 months old.

    We've done Twins baseball games, but no football games. I personally think its too loud for him at that age, maybe he can go next year depending on how load/rowdy the stadium is?

    I think it depends on your child.  I used to take Rowen to stuff like that all the time.  He could seriously sleep through anything and never cared where we were or how loud it was.  He's still that way.  Phoebe on the other hand won't sleep anywhere but at home, so I know that there is no way I could ever take her somewhere like that.  In fact we went to Target the other day and Phoebe screamed the entire 20 min drive while Rowen slept the whole time (through her screaming!).

    We took Gavin to one when he was about 7 months.  A Raiders game, but we sat in a box suite so it was a little different.  We had to keep getting up and walking him around because he was fussy, but there was a younger baby there and she slept through most of it.

    We think of this question OFTEN.  I would like to but it might be too loud, she's a happy baby but gets scared with loud noises.

    We sold our season tickets this year.  I just think it will be too much for G.  DH is still talking about going to one NFL game but I dunno.  G does sleep really well when I wear him & noise doesn't seem to bother him, so we might try it.  But then again he has never been around anything that loud for that long, ya know?  I'm afraid it would be miserable.

    We took Caroline to the horse races when she was about 2 months old.  We stayed for a bit of a concert afterwards and it was really loud but she slept the entire time we were there for the concert.  I think it depends on the kid.
