Todays lunch was Peanut butter spread on whole grain crackers, and apple and orange slices and a yogurt. (can you tell I was sharing with a 2 year old?)
I also like to make cold pasta salads or veggie chick'n (I'm a vegetarian) salad and keep them in the fridge so I can quickly take out a single serving when ever I want. I also try to keep quick healthy snacks around like grapes, whole grain crackers, bananas, hummus and whole grain chips. If I have stuff like candy or cookies I'll grab those so I try to keep them out of the house!
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013!
Almonds (appetite suppressant), yogurt (put one in the freezer--SO good), low fat string cheese, tricuits, fresh fruit, frozen fruit (so good), salads, tuna, hard boiled eggs, etc.
Re: Need Healthy Lunch and snack ideas..
